Hacienda Heights High School Teacher Confesses to Molesting Students
Earlier this week on Wednesday, a Hacienda Heights high school chemistry teacher admitted in court to molesting two of his students during the school year. The teacher pleaded guilty in the Pomona Superior Court to charges of committing lewd acts on a child and oral copulation of a person under 16. Reporters in the court room said he admitted to molesting one former student in 2014, and another one in 2011 and both girls were 15-years-old when this act happened. At the time of the two crimes, the teacher, David Park was teaching at Los Altos High School and was “walk-on” football coach at Ruben S. Ayala High School in Chino Hills. Park is expected to receive three years in state prison when he returns to court for sentencing on December 3. Park was initially arrested in February after Hacienda La Puente Unified School District officials first learned of a sexual relationship between Park and a 15-year-old student, according to officials and was held on no bail.
